The fingers of the Hand converge on the heroes, and their friends, and doubts arise about the Black Sky.
The fight at the Royal Dragon intensifies with the arrival of the rest of the Fingers of the Hand, intent on capturing Danny alive. Matt forces Elektra away from the battle, attempting to remind her of who she was. In confusion she knocks out Murakami and runs off. Luke faces off against Sowande, but gets hit by a truck and carried off. The others manage to make it out the back and disappear into the sewers.
They make their way back to the dojo, arguing about what to do next and are surprised when Luke walks in the door and tells them that he has captured Sowande.
Alexandra meets with Elektra, telling her that she sees her as a daughter.
Sowande laughs through the heroes’ interrogation, and tells them that if they cannot be reached, the Hand will go for their loved ones next, calling out Claire and Trish specifically. Luke rushes out to pick up Claire while Danny and Colleen wait for them downstairs, but Danny finds himself in an ambush, and Colleen runs into her old mentor, Bakuto. He tries to convince her to rejoin the Hand but tries to kill her when she refuses. He nearly does, giving her a good cut, but Luke arrives to stop him before the final blow. He runs off while they tend to Colleen.
Matt goes to see Karen, letting her know that he’s been dragged back into being Daredevil, at least for a while, and that her life is in danger. He asks her to come with him for safety, and she reluctantly agrees.
Luke and the others approach Misty at the police station, looking for asylum for the loved ones.
Sowande taunts Stick until Matt returns. Matt and Stick argue about what Matt’s role should be, suggesting that he should be leading.
Jessica finds Trish in a restaurant meeting with her producers, but when she tries to pull her out they are faced with fighters from the Hand and cornered upstairs. They get some surprise assistance from the devil of hell’s kitchen.
At the station, the sidekicks gather and discuss what’s happening. Colleen tells Claire she feels lost, and just wants stability after finding out the Hand’s true purpose. Trish wonders if all of this is connected to the tremors. Karen and Foggy lament Matt’s return to the mask. Misty keeps pumping for answers, but gets none.
The uncaptured fingers of the Hand gather together in their headquarters and are informed that Daredevil has joined the Iron Fist’s crusade, and that he was the man Elektra failed to kill in the last fight. Given their past relationship, they begin to wonder if she is truly the empty vessel she was supposed to be. The others begin to lose faith in Alexandra’s leadership, and decide they need a plan that doesn’t involve either her or the Black Sky. Especially since they are out of the substance they need to be resurrected, and are truly vulnerable for the first time in centuries.
Meanwhile, Daredevil interrogates Sowande about Elektra and the Hand, nearly going too far and killing him. Stick urges him to come clean about Elektra and their relationship, and the other heroes are suitably upset that he kept it secret. During this distraction, Sowande manages to free himself, and takes Danny by surprise. He goes to make his escape with him, but Stick relieves Sowande of his head.
Alexandra goes to see Elektra, but finds her missing. She has slipped away and found herself drawn to Matt’s apartment, her memories just out of reach.
