The Russians stir up trouble for Daredevil while Fisk tries to stir up his love life. Meanwhile, Karen stirs up trouble for herself.

Ben tells Karen that she’s in over her head and asks her to give up her hunt for Union Allied, but she won’t hear it. He tells her that he won’t help her. Claire tells Matt to be careful in his own hunt, but knows he won’t quit. They exchange phone numbers after he gets patched up and hits the streets again.

Meanwhile, Fisk is pressing the Russians, Vladimir and Anatoly, hard about their failures in stopping Daredevil, and the losses they have been accruing due to his fight. They step up their efforts to catch him, eventually following the path through their associate that Daredevil tossed off of a roof and back to Claire. She calls Matt, but he is too late to stop her abduction, though he is hot on their trail.

Karen infiltrates an auction, trying to track down people buying up former Union Allied assets, but is interrupted by Ben, and warned that she is in great danger. He talks her out of suspicion and meets with her afterward, letting her know that he intends to research the story on his own, but will let her help if she agrees to be more careful.

After receiving a fairly solid beating, Claire continues to refuse to give up any information about her masked friend. Daredevil finally catches up and frees her, taking her back to his apartment to patch her up for a change. He finally tells her his name.

Meanwhile, Wilson Fisk convinces the art dealer, Vanessa, to go out with him for an Italian dinner. The date goes well until it is interrupted by Anatoly, asking for Fisk’s help with Daredevil. After he takes Vanessa home and learns that she’s no longer interested in him after the incident, Fisk returns to Anatoly and beats him to death, decapitating him with a car door.
