Diamondback prepares for his end game while Luke goes fugitive again to bring him in.
Luke takes an opportunity to bust out of police custody and goes on the run, trying to track down Diamondback himself, while the precinct goes on high alert looking for both of them. Even on the run he takes time to stop a robbery in progress. Mariah starts to plot her next move to keep her head above water, and Domingo and his crew decide that it’s time to go after Diamondback themselves. Candace keeps her word to Claire and gives Misty a call to let her know she’s ready to testify to Mariah killing Cottonmouth.
Diamondback brings Turk into the situation, looking to unload some of his excess stock, and makes plans to bail Shades out of jail. He sends Zip to collect Shades from the precinct and strangle him as payback for his attitude during the hostage situation, but Shades is able to fight off his attackers, and leaves Zip dead on a roof. Diamondback leaves to throw some money at Mariah in exchange for loyalty, letting her know that she’ll share Shade’s fate if she disappoints him.
Luke tracks down Turk, looking for information on where Diamondback is hiding and learns about his warehouse. Domingo and his boys get there first, prompting Diamondback to resort to the special equipment that he brought in to take out Cage. When Cage gets there he finds the warehouse emptied out, and Domingo’s men dead or dying. He finds Domingo and pulls him out of the warehouse just as it explodes, but Domingo dies anyway, warning him that Diamondback is using something he’s never seen before, and that even Luke won’t be able to stop him.
Meanwhile, Shades reaches out to Mariah, and the two hatch a plot to pit Luke against Diamondback, hoping that they will kill each other. As leverage Shades offers up files he stole from Diamondback that can clear Carl Lucas’ name. Luke makes sure that Misty knows about the warehouse and heads back to the barbershop to find Mariah and Shades waiting for him with their offer. Misty follows him in and the four square off before a grenade comes in through the window, and Diamondback arrives in a super powered suit, bulletproof himself, ready for their final confrontation. Shades nabs Misty’s phone while he and Mariah duck out the back, with Misty on their tail.
